First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looks at whether radiofrequency ablation (RFA), a procedure that uses heat to shrink thyroid nodules, can safely reduce symptoms like neck discomfort or visible swelling and improve quality of life. About 50 adults with benign thyroid nodules will undergo the outpatient procedure and be followed for one year. Researchers will track symptom changes, nodule size, and any side effects.
