Summary
This study is testing whether a less aggressive approach to lowering TSH hormone levels works as well as the current standard for controlling advanced thyroid cancer. Researchers will compare keeping TSH very low versus allowing slightly higher levels in 70 patients with cancer that has spread or returned. The goal is to see if the gentler approach controls cancer equally well while reducing medication side effects like heart palpitations and anxiety.
