New tool predicts survival odds for rare cancer
NCT ID NCT07179341
Summary
This study aimed to create a prediction tool (called a nomogram) to estimate how long patients with thymic carcinoma might live after diagnosis. Researchers analyzed medical records from 156 patients treated between 1996 and 2023 to identify factors that most affect survival. The tool helps doctors and patients understand individual prognosis by grouping patients into low-risk and high-risk categories based on their specific characteristics.
