Could a tiny needle be the answer for menopausal sleepless nights?
NCT ID NCT07229976
Summary
This study is testing whether a type of acupuncture called 'thumbtack needle' can help improve sleep for women experiencing chronic insomnia during perimenopause and menopause. Researchers will compare the real treatment against a placebo needle in 198 women over four weeks. They will measure changes in sleep quality, daytime fatigue, anxiety, and hormone levels to see if the treatment is effective.
