New surgical approach aims to restore Pain-Free thumb movement

Summary
This study is testing a specific type of thumb joint replacement surgery for people with painful arthritis at the base of the thumb. It will follow 300 adults in France for one year after their surgery to see how well it improves their hand function, reduces pain, and increases satisfaction. The main goal is to see if this surgical technique leads to better long-term outcomes for patients.
