New study tests if Clot-Sucking device beats pills alone for leg vein clots

Summary
This study looks at 104 people with acute deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in the leg. Half will get standard blood thinners plus a procedure to remove the clot using a suction device, while the other half get only blood thinners. The goal is to see if the procedure reduces complications like repeat clots or long-term leg damage over 24 months.
