New therapy aims to help teens manage emotional turmoil faster
NCT ID NCT06566235
Summary
This study is testing if a specially adapted group therapy helps teenagers with depression or anxiety get better faster and more effectively than a standard support group. About 160 teens aged 12-17 will be randomly assigned to one of the two group therapies, which meet weekly for 15 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in depression and anxiety symptoms during treatment and for three months afterward to see which approach works better.
