Virtual therapy trial offers new hope for debilitating PMS
NCT ID NCT06462391
Summary
This study is testing whether a virtual group therapy program is a practical and acceptable way to help people with severe premenstrual mood disorders. It will involve 50 participants from Ontario who have Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) or a mood disorder that gets worse before their period. The main goal is to see if running this type of therapy group is feasible, which will help plan future research to test if it actually reduces symptoms.
