New combo therapy aims to ease breathing struggles for kids with muscle diseases
NCT ID NCT07416929
Summary
This study tested whether combining breathing exercises with hands-on manual therapy could help children with neuromuscular diseases breathe easier and move better. Twenty-eight children participated, with one group receiving standard physical therapy and another receiving the standard therapy plus the new combination treatment for six weeks. Researchers measured breathing strength, fatigue, posture, and overall motor function to see if the combined approach offered more benefits.
