Summary
This study tested a specialized 3-month inpatient therapy program called 'Finding Solid Ground' for adults with dissociative disorders caused by childhood trauma. Thirty patients participated, starting the program during their hospital stay and continuing it with local therapists after discharge. Researchers measured changes in trauma symptoms, emotional regulation, and coping skills to see if the program was helpful.
