NCT ID NCT04543487
Summary
This study tested whether a technique called therapeutic touch could help reduce pain and anxiety during labor for first-time mothers. It involved 80 women who were about to have a vaginal delivery. Half received the touch therapy, while the other half did not, to compare their experiences of pain, anxiety, and feelings about childbirth.
