NCT ID NCT07166055

First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026

Summary

This study will test whether eight months of therapeutic dance classes (two one-hour sessions per week) can improve movement, daily activities, and quality of life in children aged 3-14 with motor impairments. Researchers will compare the dance group to children who receive no intervention. The goal is to see if dance can be a fun, effective way to help these children function better at school and home.

therapeutic dance

What this could lead to

If it works, this could offer a fun, school-based activity to help children with disabilities move better and feel more involved in daily life.

What could go wrong

This is a small early-stage trial with only 30 children, so results may not apply to everyone. The benefits of dance may be modest and hard to measure.
