Summary

This study tested a program called SENSE Theatre® to see if it could help improve social skills in adults with autism. The program uses acting techniques, scripted and improvised role-play, and trained peer models to help participants practice social interactions. Researchers measured changes in social communication, face memory, and daily living skills to see if the program's benefits lasted and applied to real-world settings.
