FDA tests if edible pot is worse than drunk driving

NCT ID NCT07176208

Summary

This study aims to understand how taking cannabis (THC) by mouth affects a person's ability to drive, both alone and when combined with alcohol. Researchers will give 48 healthy adults different doses of THC and alcohol, then test their driving in a simulator. The goal is to fill a knowledge gap about the safety risks of using these substances before getting behind the wheel.
