Old drug gets new shot at fighting rare leukemia

NCT ID NCT06530576

Summary

This study is testing whether the drug thalidomide, taken as a pill, can control symptoms of a rare blood cancer called large granular lymphocytic leukemia (LGLL). Researchers want to see if using thalidomide alone works well, based on promising results when it was combined with other drugs. The trial will enroll 48 adult patients in China who have symptoms from their LGLL, like severe low blood counts or frequent infections.
