New pill hopes to ease thalassemia without transfusions

Summary
This study tests a new drug called SNH-119014 in 30 adults with a type of thalassemia that does not need regular blood transfusions. The goal is to see if the drug is safe and helps control the disease. Participants will take the drug and be monitored for side effects and changes in their condition.
