Can simple text messages get people to wear their hearing aids?
NCT ID NCT07146607
Summary
This study is testing whether automated text messages can help people who are new to hearing aids use them more consistently. Many people get hearing aids but then don't wear them regularly, which wastes resources and leaves hearing problems unaddressed. The research will enroll 70 adult NHS patients to see if a text-message support system called 'Florence' is a practical and helpful way to improve hearing aid use and patient satisfaction.
