Hormone shot aims to kickstart puberty in teen boys
NCT ID NCT06689085
Summary
This study is testing a testosterone injection called XYOSTED to help teenage boys (ages 12 to 18) whose bodies don't make enough of this important hormone. About 100 participants will receive the injection for one year, with an option to continue for two more years, to see if it safely helps them progress through normal puberty and development. Researchers will track physical changes, hormone levels, and safety over time.
