First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study tests whether a virtual patient learning platform can improve dental students' confidence and ability to diagnose temporomandibular disorders (TMD), which cause jaw pain and dysfunction. About 90 third- and fourth-year dental students will use the tool and report their confidence levels and diagnostic accuracy. The goal is to see if this modern teaching method works better than traditional approaches.
