Doctors test emoji smileys to gauge prostate symptoms

NCT ID NCT07269652

Summary

This study tested whether a simple tool using smiley face emojis could help measure urinary symptoms in men with an enlarged prostate. Researchers compared the smiley face results with standard medical questionnaires and objective urine flow measurements from 100 men. The goal was to see if this easy, visual method could be a useful tool for doctors to understand patient symptoms quickly.
