New device aims to stop bleeding faster after heart procedures
NCT ID NCT06851481
Summary
This study is testing a new medical device designed to quickly seal the puncture in the leg artery after catheter-based procedures like heart valve replacements. The device uses a special suture (stitch) to close the artery opening. Researchers want to see if it safely stops bleeding faster than current methods and reduces complications at the puncture site.
