Smart cuffs: new tech aims for more accurate blood pressure readings
NCT ID NCT05654714
Summary
This study tested new computer programs inside automated blood pressure cuffs to see if they measure blood pressure accurately enough to meet international standards. Researchers enrolled 152 adults and children aged 3 and older to compare the new cuff readings against a standard reference method. The goal was to validate the technology for use in medical settings, not to treat any condition.
