Race against time: bringing the ICU to cardiac arrest victims
NCT ID NCT07041086
Summary
This study is testing if sending a specialized medical team with a portable heart-lung support machine directly to the scene of a cardiac arrest can save more lives and prevent brain damage. The goal is to connect patients to this life-support system much faster than waiting until they reach the hospital. Researchers will compare survival rates and brain recovery between patients who receive this mobile treatment and those who receive standard care.
