Race against time: mobile Heart-Lung machines tested at cardiac arrest scenes to save more lives
NCT ID NCT07041086
Summary
This study is testing whether bringing advanced heart-lung machines directly to people experiencing cardiac arrest outside the hospital can improve survival and brain recovery. Researchers will compare this new mobile approach to the standard method where patients must first be transported to the hospital. The goal is to see if starting this life-support treatment much sooner leads to better long-term outcomes for patients.
