Scientists try to Fine-Tune brain zaps for better results

NCT ID NCT04742439

Summary

This study aimed to test a new method for customizing the dose of a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called tDCS. Researchers wanted to see if a personalized dose could make the stimulation's effects on hand movement more consistent and stronger. The study was designed for healthy volunteers and people who had a stroke at least six months prior, but it was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
