Summary
This study aims to understand if brief electrical signals applied to the inner ear can create hearing sensations. Researchers are testing this in 18 adults who are already scheduled for ear surgery. During their procedure, participants will report what they hear when different electrical signals are applied, helping scientists learn how the ear responds to this type of stimulation.
