Can your phone really track your diet? scientists put apps to the test

NCT ID NCT05166226

Summary

This study aims to test how accurately two smartphone apps, PortionSize™ and MyFitnessPal, measure what people eat and drink in their daily lives. Researchers will compare the apps' readings against the actual weight of food provided to participants. The goal is to see if these apps can reliably help people understand their nutrition.
