Finding the best fit: study tests custom braces to ease pain and improve mobility after serious foot injuries
NCT ID NCT06352788
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to set up custom carbon fiber foot braces to help people who still have problems like weakness, pain, or limited movement more than two years after a serious foot or ankle injury. Researchers will fit 35 adult participants with a brace and test different settings to see which one helps them move better, feel less pain, and be more comfortable. The goal is to gather solid evidence to guide doctors and therapists on how to best use these devices for long-term recovery.
