Heated chemo dose test aims to boost safety in aggressive abdominal cancer surgery
NCT ID NCT04779554
Summary
This study is for people with advanced stomach or intestinal cancers that have spread to the lining of the abdomen. It compares two ways to dose a heated chemotherapy wash given directly into the abdomen during major surgery. The goal is to see if a dose based on a patient's weight works as well as a standard flat dose, but with fewer side effects from the drug entering the bloodstream.
