Smart patch trial aims to keep kids safer after leaving ICU
NCT ID NCT04627766
Summary
This study is testing a small, wearable patch to see if it can accurately monitor vital signs like heart rate and oxygen levels in children staying in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU). Researchers will compare the patch's readings to the standard hospital monitors for 8 hours. A key goal is to see if the patch works equally well for children with all different skin colors.
