New device aims to stop bleeding faster after major heart procedures

Summary
This study is testing a new medical device designed to quickly seal the puncture in the leg artery after certain heart and blood vessel procedures. It will involve 55 adults who are having planned, non-emergency procedures using larger catheters. Researchers will check how safe the device is and how fast it stops the bleeding at the access site.
