New scoring system aims to predict best fix for stubborn broken bones

NCT ID NCT07207447

Summary

This study tested a scoring system designed to help doctors choose the best treatment for broken leg bones that fail to heal on their own. Researchers scored 60 adult patients based on their specific condition and then treated them according to that score, from simple fixes to complex surgeries. The goal was to see if using this scoring system leads to better healing outcomes for these difficult cases.
