Blood test could spot cancer return before scans

NCT ID NCT07453082

Summary

This study aims to learn if a specific substance in the blood, called miRNA371, can tell doctors if testicular cancer is still present or likely to come back. Researchers will observe 100 men with newly diagnosed testicular cancer, collecting their blood and scan results over time. The goal is to see if this blood marker can detect cancer relapse earlier than standard imaging tests.
