NCT ID NCT07548944

First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at whether people with retinitis pigmentosa and similar eye diseases experience short-term improvements in vision after using a device that delivers mild electrical stimulation to the eye. The device is already approved in Europe to slow vision loss. Researchers will measure vision sharpness, contrast, and retinal sensitivity in 30 adults who report feeling better after treatment. The goal is to confirm these subjective benefits with objective tests.
