New drug aims to reduce bulging eyes in thyroid disease

Summary

This study tests a new drug called teprotumumab N01 against standard steroid treatment for active thyroid eye disease, which causes eye bulging and discomfort. About 92 adults with moderate-to-severe symptoms will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatments. The main goal is to see if the new drug reduces eye protrusion better than steroids.
