New hope for rare lung cancer: targeted pill may outperform standard care

Summary
This study tests whether the drug tepotinib works better than standard treatments for people with a specific type of advanced lung cancer (MET exon 14 mutation) that has worsened after initial therapy. About 133 adults will be randomly assigned to receive either tepotinib pills or the doctor's choice of other cancer drugs. The main goal is to see if tepotinib delays cancer growth and improves quality of life, with manageable side effects like swelling.
