Zap away neck pain: which stimulation works best?

NCT ID NCT07557511

First seen May 03, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study compares two types of nerve stimulation—TENS (using sticky pads on the skin) and rTMS (using a magnetic coil on the head)—to see which better reduces pain and improves daily function in people with cervical radiculopathy (pinched nerve in the neck). About 50 adults aged 30-45 with at least 3 months of arm pain will be assigned to one of the two treatments. The goal is to find a non-drug way to ease symptoms and help people move better.
