First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tests if a nerve-stimulation device (TENS) works as well as a common painkiller (dexketoprofen) for kidney stone pain. About 128 adults in the ER will receive one of the two treatments. Pain levels will be checked after 15 and 30 minutes to see which option provides faster relief.
