New therapy combo tested to help kids with CP walk better
NCT ID NCT07338994
Summary
This study tested whether adding TENS (a mild electrical stimulation therapy) to a special training program could improve walking in young children with a specific type of cerebral palsy. Thirty children, aged 4 to 6, were randomly assigned to receive either the training alone or the training plus TENS for eight weeks. Researchers measured changes in how the children walked, like their step length and speed.
