Zap your pain away? electrical pads tested for surgery recovery

NCT ID NCT07405502

Summary

This study is testing whether a non-drug method called TENS (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation) can help patients feel better after kidney stone surgery. Researchers will compare 72 patients who receive TENS therapy to those who do not, looking at pain, nausea, vomiting, and overall recovery quality in the first day after their operation. The goal is to see if this safe, electrical stimulation technique can improve the recovery experience without extra medication.
