Zap the bedwetting? study tests gentle electrical pulses for kids

NCT ID NCT04313192

Summary

This study aimed to find the best setting for a TENS unit, a device that delivers gentle electrical pulses, to help children who wet the bed. It involved 125 children who had not succeeded with simple behavioral changes. The children used the device on their ankle for 15 minutes each night for a month, with different groups testing different pulse frequencies, to see which worked best at reducing wet nights and improving quality of life.
