Elbow pain relief showdown: injections vs shock waves
NCT ID NCT07043335
Summary
This study compares two treatments for tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis): mesotherapy (a series of small injections) and extracorporeal shock wave therapy (a non-invasive device). Fifty adults with persistent elbow pain will be randomly assigned to receive five weekly sessions of one treatment. Researchers will measure which approach better reduces pain and improves arm function over 12 weeks.
