Needle vs knife: new study tests less invasive fix for tennis elbow
NCT ID NCT02710682
Summary
This study compared two treatments for chronic tennis elbow that hadn't improved with standard care like rest or physical therapy. It involved 64 workers who were randomly assigned to receive either a minor surgical procedure or a less invasive ultrasound-guided needle treatment. The main goal was to see which approach better reduced pain and improved elbow function after six months.
