Tennis elbow showdown: shock waves or lasers?

NCT ID NCT07564713

First seen May 23, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026

Summary

This study compares two noninvasive treatments—shock wave therapy and low-level laser therapy—for tennis elbow. Fifty adults with elbow pain for at least six weeks will receive either treatment plus a brace and exercises. Researchers will measure pain, grip strength, and tendon thickness using ultrasound to see which approach works better.
