First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study compares pressure pain sensitivity and the body's built-in pain-blocking system in 38 adults with and without tennis elbow. Participants complete short questionnaires and undergo pressure pain tests at the elbow and wrist, plus a cold water hand immersion to see how pain sensitivity changes over time. The goal is to better understand pain mechanisms in tennis elbow, which may improve future treatments.
