First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tested a new treatment for tennis elbow (lateral epicondylalgia), a common condition causing elbow pain. Researchers gave 60 participants either real or fake (sham) electrical stimulation to the radial nerve, combined with exercises. The goal was to see if the real stimulation reduced pain and disability more than the sham treatment.
