Zapping the nerve to ease tennis elbow?

NCT ID NCT04442321

Summary

This study tested if a treatment combining gentle electrical stimulation near a specific arm nerve with exercises works better than fake stimulation with exercises for reducing tennis elbow pain and improving arm function. Sixty adults with confirmed tennis elbow were randomly assigned to receive either the real or fake stimulation alongside a standard exercise program. Researchers measured changes in pain, disability, and fear of movement over time to see which approach helped more.
