First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looked at two treatments for chronic tennis elbow (lateral epicondylosis) in 64 workers who had not gotten better after 6 months of standard care. One group received a minimally invasive ultrasound-guided needle procedure (tendon fenestration) to stimulate healing, while the other group had mini-open surgery. The goal was to see which approach better reduced pain and improved function 6 months after treatment.
