First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study compares two treatments for tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis): mesotherapy (injections) and extracorporeal shock wave therapy. Fifty adults with elbow pain for at least 6 weeks will be randomly assigned to receive 5 sessions of one treatment. Researchers will measure pain, function, and quality of life before treatment, right after, and 12 weeks later to see which approach works better.
