Summary
This study aims to understand if the stiffness of a specific foot tendon changes in people with bunions (hallux valgus). Researchers will use a special ultrasound technique to measure tendon stiffness in 45 adults with bunions and compare them to 45 healthy adults. The goal is to gather knowledge about how muscles and tendons contribute to the deformity, which could inform future treatment approaches.
